What happens to your workspace when an AppSumo code is refunded

Refunds for the lifetime deal go through AppSumo. When AppSumo refunds a code, we turn that code off in SpamCipher, and your workspace moves to the level that matches the codes it still holds.

What a refund changes
Step 1: The code stops working
- A refunded code is turned off for good. If someone tries to redeem it, they are told the code is no longer valid.
Step 2: Your workspace follows the codes left
- With codes left, the workspace drops to their level. For example, from three codes to two means 5,000 credits a month and 8 warm-up mailboxes.
- With no codes left, the workspace goes back to the free plan, unless it pays for SpamCipher ONE, which it keeps.
Step 3: Back on the free plan
- The free plan is a one-month trial, counted from when the workspace was created. If that month has passed and nothing was bought, the app closes until you buy a credit pack or SpamCipher ONE.

Contact us from the menu under your name, with the last four characters of your code.
