Redeem your AppSumo code

Put your workspace on the lifetime plan by entering the code AppSumo gave you

After you buy the SpamCipher deal on AppSumo, you get a code. Sign up for SpamCipher (or sign in), and as the workspace owner redeem the code under Settings. The workspace moves to the Lifetime (AppSumo) plan straight away, and your first month's credits arrive at once.

Note: Only the workspace owner can redeem a code. Redeem it in the workspace you want on the lifetime plan.
Note: Capital letters, spaces and dashes in the code do not matter.
Note: A code does not combine with a referral. If the workspace has an agency partner or came through a referral link, redeeming a code ends that.
Note: On a workspace that already pays for SpamCipher ONE, the workspace keeps ONE and the codes wait underneath it. See Lifetime plan and SpamCipher ONE.

Before you start

  • Your code from AppSumo
  • A SpamCipher account, as the owner of the workspace
  • About 2 minutes

Redeem the code

Step 1: Open Redeem code

  • Click Settings at the bottom of the left menu, then Redeem code at the end of the row of tabs.

Step 2: Enter your code

  • Under Redeem a code, type or paste your AppSumo code.
  • Click Redeem.

Step 3: Check your plan

  • The card says Code redeemed. You now get 2,000 credits a month and 5 warm-up mailboxes.
  • The card now shows Lifetime (AppSumo), how many codes the workspace holds, and what another code would add.
  • The first month's 2,000 credits are already on your pay-as-you-go balance, where they never expire. From then on the monthly credits arrive on the 1st of each month.

Troubleshooting

It says that code is not known

Check the code letter by letter. If it still does not work, contact us from the menu under your name.

It says that code has already been redeemed

Each code works once. If you did not redeem it, contact us.

It says that code is no longer valid

The code was refunded on AppSumo, so it no longer works.

It says only the workspace owner can redeem a code

Ask the workspace owner to redeem it, or switch to a workspace you own.

It says this workspace is on an enterprise plan

Contact us and we apply the deal for you.

My free trial ended before I redeemed

The page shown when the trial ends has a Have a promo code? link. Click it and redeem your code there.
