How to find someone's email address

Give a name and a company domain, and Email Finder works out the address and checks it

Updated 11 October 2026

Email Finder takes a person's name and their company's web address and finds their email address. It tries the patterns companies use, checks each one with the company's mail server, and gives you the address with a confidence score. Use it when you know who you want to reach but not how to write to them.

Note: What it costs: 2 credits for each address found. A lookup that finds nothing is free.
Note: Confidence tells you how sure SpamCipher is. A high score means the mail server confirmed the mailbox exists. A lower score means the address follows the company's pattern but the server would not confirm it, which some companies refuse to do for everyone.

Before you start

  • The person's first and last name
  • Their company's web address, such as example.com
  • About 3 minutes

Find one address

Step 1: Open Email Finder

  • In the left menu, point to the tick icon to open Deliverability.
  • Click Email Finder.

Step 2: Enter the name and the company domain

  • Type the person's First Name and Last Name.
  • Under Company Domain, type the company's web address without www, for example example.com.
  • Company Name and a middle name are optional. They help when the domain alone is not enough.

Step 3: Click Find Email

  • Click Find Email. The lookup takes a few seconds.
  • The result shows the address, its confidence, how it was confirmed, and the pattern the company uses for its addresses.
  • Click Copy to copy the address, or add it to a list or a campaign from the same card.
Note: Finding an address uses 2 credits. If nothing is found, nothing is charged.

Find many at once

Step 4: Switch to Bulk Lookup

  • Click Bulk Lookup.
  • Paste up to 50 people, one per line, as first name, last name and domain separated by commas.
  • Click Find Emails. Each address found uses 2 credits, and the results come back as a list you can download.

Troubleshooting

It found nothing

Check the spelling of the name and that the domain is the one the company uses for email, which can differ from its website. Adding the Company Name helps SpamCipher tell similar domains apart.

The confidence is low

Some companies refuse to confirm any address to the outside, so SpamCipher can only match the pattern the company uses. A low-confidence address can still be right; a bounce from it will not hurt your reputation when you send to one address, but do not add many of them to a campaign.

I need more than 50 at a time

Use Super Search, where you can reveal addresses for whole lists of people, or run Bulk Lookup more than once.
