Name your agency partner

Tell SpamCipher which agency set up or runs your workspace, so they get credit for it

If an agency set up SpamCipher for you or runs your campaigns, you can name them as your workspace's agency partner. They then earn a commission on what you pay SpamCipher. Your price never goes up because of it.

Note: Only the workspace owner can add or remove the agency partner. Owners, admins and members can see who it is.
Note: A workspace has one agency partner at a time. To change it, remove the current one first.
Note: If you name an agency partner before you first buy SpamCipher ONE, that first purchase gets 10% off: the first three months on monthly billing, or the first invoice on annual billing.

Before you start

  • Your agency's partner code (they can give it to you)
  • You are the workspace owner
  • About 3 minutes

Add your agency partner

Step 1: Open Workspace & members

  • Click Settings at the bottom of the left menu, then the Workspace & members tab.

Step 2: Find the Agency partner card

  • Under the workspace name, the Agency partner card shows who your agency partner is, or No agency partner yet.

Step 3: Type their code and add them

  • In Their partner code, type the code your agency gave you.
  • Click Add agency partner.
  • The card shows the agency's name and the date it was set, and you get an email saying your agency partner is set.

Other ways it is set, and how to remove it

Step 4: When the agency asks instead

  • An agency that is an admin of your workspace can ask to be its agency partner. You get an email asking you to confirm.
  • Open the link in that email within 7 days, signed in to this workspace, to confirm it. If you did not expect the email, ignore it and nothing changes.
  • A workspace that started through the agency's link, or on the agency's own sign-in page, already has them as its agency partner.

Step 5: If your first payment was more than 60 days ago

  • You can still name an agency partner. SpamCipher checks it before the agency earns anything, and the card says it is waiting for SpamCipher to confirm. Nothing changes for you meanwhile.

Step 6: Remove your agency partner

  • On the same card, click Remove agency partner. You get an email saying it was removed.
  • Commission the agency already earned stays with them; nothing more is earned from then on.

Troubleshooting

It says no approved solutions partner has that code

Check the code with your agency. Only agencies approved as SpamCipher solutions partners have a code that works here.

It says this workspace already has an agency partner

Remove the current one first, then add the new one.

It says this workspace pays the partner price

Your agency buys SpamCipher for this workspace at their partner price, so the agency comes with that price and cannot be changed here.

It says the owner already owns another workspace

A workspace whose owner owns another SpamCipher workspace cannot have an agency partner.

I do not see the code box

Only the workspace owner can add an agency partner. Ask the owner, or ask them to make you the owner.

The confirmation link says it has expired

The link works for 7 days. Ask the agency to ask again.
