How to change your password, log out, and delete your account
The account settings that affect how you sign in, and the one that removes everything
Updated 11 October 2026
Your account is yours across every workspace you belong to: one password, one email address, one profile. The Settings page is where you change the password, and the account menu at the bottom of the left menu is where you log out. Deleting the account is there too, under Danger zone, and it cannot be undone.
Before you start
- About 3 minutes
Your sign-in
Step 1: Open Settings
- Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Settings.
Step 2: Change your password
- Click the Account tab. Under Change password, type your Current password, then the new one twice, and click Update password.
- Your email address is shown above it with its verification state; it is changed on the Email tab.
Step 3: Log out
- Click your name at the bottom of the left menu, then Log out. You are signed out of this browser; other browsers and devices stay signed in until you log out there or their sign-in runs out.
Delete your account
Step 4: Danger zone
- On the Account tab, under Danger zone, click Delete account and confirm.
- Your account, its data and its place in every workspace are removed. This cannot be undone, and a workspace you are the only member of goes with it.
Troubleshooting
I forgot my password
Log out, then click Forgot password on the sign-in page. A reset link goes to your email address and works for an hour.
Update password says the current password is wrong
If you signed up with Google or Microsoft, there is no SpamCipher password; sign in with that provider instead. Otherwise use Forgot password on the sign-in page.
I want to delete a workspace, not my account
Write to support from the Owner's email address with the workspace name. The Owner's confirmation is needed, and the workspace's mailboxes, campaigns and data are removed.
