Use a friend's code

Type the code a SpamCipher customer gave you, and you both get 2,000 credits when you first buy

If a friend who uses SpamCipher gave you their referral code, type it into your new account before your first purchase. When you buy SpamCipher ONE or your first credit pack, you and your friend each get 2,000 credits.

Note: Only the owner of a new workspace can use a friend's code: the workspace must be less than 60 days old and must not have bought anything yet, not even a credit pack.

Note: You must not own another SpamCipher workspace, and a workspace can be referred only once.

Note: If you signed up through your friend's link, you are already their referral and do not need the code.

Note: A friend's code is not a promo code. Promo codes go under Redeem code.

Add the code

Step 1: Open Refer a friend

Click Settings at the bottom of the left menu, then the Refer a friend tab.

Step 2: Type your friend's code

At the top of the page, click Have a friend's code?
Type the code in the Your friend's code box and click Use code.
The page says Code added. You and your friend each get 2,000 credits when you make your first purchase.

Note: The same Have a friend's code? link is on the Pricing page and on the page shown when your free trial ends. If you do not see it, your workspace can no longer take a code.

Get the credits

Step 3: Make your first purchase

Buy SpamCipher ONE or a credit pack. As soon as the payment goes through, 2,000 credits are added to your pay-as-you-go balance, and your friend gets 2,000 too.
These credits never expire. It happens once; later purchases do not add more.

Troubleshooting

I do not see Have a friend's code?

It shows only to the owner of a free workspace that has bought nothing and is the only workspace they own. If you already bought a credit pack or a plan, a code can no longer be added.

It says a code can be used in a workspace's first 60 days, before its first purchase

Your workspace is older than 60 days or has already bought something, so it cannot take a friend's code any more.

It says this workspace was already referred

You joined through someone's link or already added a code. A workspace can be referred once.

It says that friend has reached their referrals for the year

Each customer can refer 20 people in any 12 months. Your friend has reached that limit.

It says that code is not known

Check the code with your friend. Partner and affiliate codes do not work here; use their link instead.
