How to add leads to an agent

An agent writes to the people in its own campaign. A Sales Agent finds people itself from the audience you approved, and you can add someone you already have on the agent's Leads tab. A person you add goes through the same checks as an import, and the agent writes to them once it is turned on.

Before you start

• An agent that has finished setting up, so it has its campaign
• The person's email address
• About 3 minutes

Add one person

Step 1: Open Cipher Agents

• In the left menu, click the robot icon, Cipher Agents.

Step 2: Open the agent's Leads tab

• Click the agent to open its page.
• Click the Leads tab under its name.

Step 3: Add the person

• Click Add lead above the list.
• Type the email address. First name, last name, company, job title and the rest are optional; they fill the agent's emails.
• Leave the verify box ticked to check the address first (1 credit). Untick it and the agent checks the address before it writes.
• Click Add to this agent. A line under the form says whether the person was added, or why not.

Step 4: Use the agent's campaign

• Open Campaigns and click the agent's campaign.
• On its Leads tab, paste the addresses or upload a CSV or TXT file, as for any campaign.
• Or give Cipher AI the addresses and ask it to add them to the agent.
