How to set up the Sales Agent

Tell Cipher AI what you sell and who buys it, and get a campaign that is ready to send

The Sales Agent turns what you sell into outreach. It reads your website, proposes the audience it thinks you want, finds people who fit, and writes the sequence. You set it up by answering a few questions from Cipher AI, then you edit and approve what it prepared. It never launches anything on its own.

Note: What it costs: each step the agent takes uses 5 credits, and each address it finds uses 2. Nothing is spent until you have approved the plan.

Note: Every agent is told what you sell and who buys it before it writes a word. These live under Cipher Agents, Shared settings, and the Sales Agent fills them in from your site during setup.

Note: A new agent starts as a draft. Nothing runs until you turn it on, and even then it asks before anything leaves the building unless you change that.

Before you start

Your website address, or a few lines about what you sell
A connected mailbox, so the campaign it prepares has something to send from
About 10 minutes, most of it answering questions

Create the agent

Step 1: Open Cipher Agents

In the left menu, click the robot icon, Cipher Agents.

Step 2: Click Create agent

Click Create agent at the top right.

Step 3: Choose the Sales Agent

Under Set up with a few questions, find Sales Agent and click Use.

Step 4: Answer Cipher AI's questions

Cipher AI opens and asks what you sell, who buys it, and what you want the agent to do first. Answer in your own words, or give it your website and let it read.
It proposes an audience, checks how many people fit, and shows you the plan as a card. Click Approve on the card and it prepares the agent.

Review it and turn it on

Step 5: Open the agent's page

The agent appears under Cipher Agents as a draft, with its own page. The line under its name says what it does; click Edit to change it.
Turn on starts it. Until then nothing runs.
The sentence under the tabs says whether it asks you before sending. Click Change that to let it run on its own, once you trust it.

Step 6: Approve what it prepared

Anything the agent has prepared and will not send without you is under Waiting for your approval. Click Review them to read each one, change a word, and approve or reject it.
The campaign it wrote is under Campaigns like any other. Edit the sequence there, pick the mailboxes, and launch it when you are happy.

Troubleshooting

Cipher AI asked me to approve a card I did not understand

The card says what it is about to do and what it costs. Click the card's Deny if you are not sure; nothing is spent or created, and you can ask it to explain first.

The agent found no one

Open Cipher Agents, Shared settings, Who to reach and widen the audience: fewer roles, more industries or countries. Then ask Cipher AI to run the agent again.

I want it to stop asking me every time

On the agent's page, click Change that under the tabs, or set Auto-approve everything under Cipher Agents, Shared settings, Approvals. Only an Owner or Admin can do this.

Can I have more than one Sales Agent?

Yes. Create another from Create agent; each gets a numbered name you can change, its own audience and its own campaign.
