Ask Cipher AI, and what it can do

Ask about your workspace in plain words, get answers from your own data, and let it act with your approval

Cipher AI is the assistant inside SpamCipher. Ask it how your campaigns are doing, why a mailbox is paused, who replied this week, or how to do something, and it answers from your own workspace: your campaigns, mailboxes, domains, leads and replies. It can also do things for you, such as pausing a campaign or putting your approved emails into one, and anything that changes something waits for your approval first.

Note: What it costs: 5 credits for each answer, however many things it reads to give it. A stopped answer is free.
Note: What it will not do: it never writes email copy of its own. The emails your campaigns send are the ones you approved on Memory, Emails.

Before you start

  • A SpamCipher account with a few credits
  • About 4 minutes

Ask a question

Step 1: Open Cipher AI

  • In the left menu, click the speech bubble icon, Cipher AI.
  • It is also beside every page: the round button at the bottom right opens it next to what you are looking at.

Step 2: Type what you want to know

  • Type in the box at the bottom, for example "Why is my campaign not sending?" or "How did last week go?", and press Enter.
  • The card above the box shows what still needs doing to get your workspace sending, with a button for each.
  • On the left, New conversation starts a fresh one; earlier ones are listed below it.

Step 3: Attach a file, speak, or make it recurring

  • The paper clip attaches a file, such as a CSV of leads, for Cipher AI to read.
  • The microphone lets you speak the question. Press it to start, and press it again when you are done.
  • The clock makes the question a recurring task, so Cipher AI runs it every day or every week and tells you what it found.

Step 4: What it can answer and do

  • Read anything in your workspace. Campaigns and their results, mailboxes and warm-up, domains and their records, leads, replies, meetings, verification results, Super Search.
  • Do things for you. Pause or resume a campaign, put your approved emails into one, add leads, assign mailboxes, set a daily limit, create an agent.
  • Explain how to do something, with the steps and a link to the help article.
  • Everything that changes something shows you an approval card first. Nothing happens until you click Approve.

Step 5: Control what it may do

  • Click Settings at the bottom of the left panel.
  • Approvals are on means every change waits for your Approve. Only an Owner or Admin can switch approvals off, and a tool that spends credits always asks.
  • Analytics are on lets it read your campaign figures. Turn it off and it will not.

Troubleshooting

It says it cannot answer or the answer stops

Ask again in one sentence with what you mean, for example the campaign's name. A stopped answer is not charged.

It did something I did not want

Every change needs your Approve first unless approvals are off in Settings. Turn them back on there, and undo the change on the page it names.

It will not write my emails

That is on purpose. Write or draft your emails on Memory, Emails, approve them there, and Cipher AI will put the approved ones into a campaign when you ask.

Where are my old conversations?

In the left panel, under today's. Click Find a conversation to search them; Show older conversations lists the rest.
