Ask to be a workspace's agency partner

If your client made you an admin of their SpamCipher workspace, you can ask to be its agency partner instead of sending them your code. The owner gets an email and confirms with one click. From then on you earn commission on what the workspace pays.

Before you start

• An approved agency partner account (resell or refer)
• You are an admin of your client's workspace, and not its owner
• The workspace does not have an agency partner yet
• About 3 minutes

Send the request

Step 1: Switch to your client's workspace

• Click the workspace name at the top left of the app and choose your client's workspace.

Step 2: Open Workspace & members

• Click Settings at the bottom of the left menu, then the Workspace & members tab.

Step 3: Ask to be the agency partner

• On the Agency partner card, click Ask to be this workspace's agency partner.
• The card then says you asked, and that it is waiting for the owner to confirm from the email.

What happens next

Step 4: The owner confirms

• The owner gets an email saying you ask to be the workspace's agency partner, with a link to confirm.
• The link works for 7 days, signed in to that workspace. If the owner ignores it, nothing changes.
• Asking again replaces your earlier request.

Step 5: Once it is confirmed

• You get an email saying you are now the agency partner.
• The workspace shows under Referrals in your partner area, as Agency partner, you asked and the owner confirmed.
• You earn your tier's commission on its payments from its next invoice.
• If the workspace first paid more than 60 days ago, SpamCipher checks it before you earn anything.
