Your partner link and how referrals count

Your partner link is how SpamCipher knows a new customer came from you. Share it anywhere your audience or your clients will see it. When someone clicks it and then signs up, their new workspace becomes your referral.

Share your link

Step 1: Copy your link

• In your partner area, find Your link at the top right.
• Click Copy, then paste the link where you want to share it.

Step 2: Point to any page

• Your code works on any spamcipher.com page. Add ?via= and your code to the end of the page's address, for example to link to the pricing page or a blog post.
• A visit to any of those addresses counts the same as a visit to your link.

How a sign-up becomes your referral

Step 3: The 60 days and the last click

• A click on your link counts for 60 days. If the person signs up for SpamCipher in that time, their new workspace is your referral.
• If they click another partner's link after yours, the last click counts.
• Only new customers count. Someone who already has a SpamCipher account and opens another workspace does not become a referral.

Step 4: Clicked during their trial

• If someone signed up without your link and clicks it before they first buy, they become your referral when they buy, as long as their workspace is less than 60 days old and nobody else referred it.

Step 5: What your customer gets

• A customer who comes through your link gets 10% off their first SpamCipher ONE purchase: the first three months on monthly billing, or the first invoice on annual billing.
• A workspace that pays your partner price does not get this 10% as well.

Other ways a workspace becomes yours (agencies)

Step 6: The client names you, or you ask

• Your client can type your code under Agency partner in Settings, Workspace & members. This works for agencies only; an affiliate's code works in links, not typed in.
• If the client made you an admin of their workspace, you can ask to be its agency partner, and the owner confirms by email.
• If your own login address is open for sign-ups, a workspace created there is your referral too.

Step 7: Find them in Referrals

• Every workspace that became yours, in any of these ways, shows under Referrals.
• A referral locks at the workspace's first payment.
