Your referrals
The workspaces you brought to SpamCipher, where each one stands, and what it has earned
Updated 14 October 2026
The Referrals tab lists every workspace that became yours: through your link, by naming you as their agency partner, or on your own login address. Each row shows whether the workspace is paying and what it has earned you.
Before you start
- An approved partner or affiliate account
- About 3 minutes
Open your referrals
Step 1: Open the Referrals tab
- In your partner area, click Referrals.
Step 2: Read the list
- Until your first referral, the list says No referrals yet.
- Then each row shows the workspace, its status, the date it became yours (Since), the date it first paid (Locked) and what it has earned you so far. Affiliates also see their rate for each one.
What each row means
Step 3: The status
- On trial means the workspace has not started paying for SpamCipher ONE yet.
- Paying means it has an active SpamCipher ONE plan.
- Ended means it is no longer your referral. Commission it already earned stays yours.
Step 4: The tags
- Resold marks a workspace on your partner price. It earns no commission, so Earned shows n/a.
- On hold means we are checking the referral before any commission on it is paid.
- Agency partner, named by the owner, or Agency partner, you asked and the owner confirmed: how the workspace named you as its agency partner.
Step 5: When a referral locks and when it ends
- A referral locks at the workspace's first payment. Your commission period is counted from that payment.
- It ends when the owner removes you as agency partner, when the workspace is deleted, or when its plan has been gone for more than 60 days. After a 60-day break, it only becomes yours again through a new click on your link.
Step 6: Why a referral is on hold
- At the first payment, the buyer's details matched yours, such as the same account, the same email address, the same company email domain or the same card.
- The owner named you as agency partner more than 60 days after the workspace first paid.
- We are looking into misuse of the program or a payment dispute.
- Commission on a referral on hold waits until we clear it. Contact us if you think it is a mistake.
Troubleshooting
A workspace I referred is not in the list
It must have signed up within 60 days of clicking your link, as a new customer, and not clicked another partner's link afterwards. See Your partner link and how referrals count.
Why can I not see my client's full workspace name?
Referred workspaces show their initials only. Workspaces you resell at the partner price show their full name.
A referral shows Ended
The owner removed you as agency partner, the workspace was deleted, or its plan has been gone more than 60 days. What it already earned stays yours.
