Your own login address
Let your clients sign in to SpamCipher at an address on your own domain, such as app.youragency.com
Updated 14 October 2026
Your clients can sign in to SpamCipher at an address on your own domain, wearing your brand. You choose the address in the app, add one record where your domain's DNS is managed, and we do the rest, including the secure certificate.
Before you start
- An approved agency partner account with a saved brand
- A domain you own, and access to its DNS settings
- About 6 minutes, plus a few minutes for the address to go live
Choose your address
Step 1: Find Login address
- In your partner area, click White label, then scroll to Login address.
- Until your brand is saved, it says Save your brand first.
Step 2: Type the address and set it up
- Type the full address you want, such as app.youragency.com. Leave out https:// and anything after the name.
- Click Set up address.
Point your domain at SpamCipher
Step 3: Add the record the card shows
- The card now shows one DNS record to add: Type CNAME, Name your address, and Target the address the card gives you.
- Sign in where your domain's DNS is managed, add a new CNAME record with that name and target, and save it.
- The card says Waiting for DNS until the record reaches us.
Step 4: What the record does
- A CNAME record says that your address is another name for ours. Visitors to app.youragency.com then reach SpamCipher, and see your brand.
- Once the record points at us, we issue the secure certificate for your address. This usually takes a few minutes.
Step 5: Check that it is live
- Click Check now on the card to look again. If it says it is not live yet, DNS changes can take a while to reach us; check again in a few minutes.
- When the card says Live, your clients sign in at your address.
- If it says Not working, the card shows the reason. Fix the record and click Check now, or remove the address and set it up again.
Change or remove it
Step 6: Remove the address
- Click Remove address on the card. If the address is live, the card asks once, because your clients can no longer sign in there; click Remove it, or Keep it to cancel.
- Removing the address also turns off sign-ups on it. You can then delete the CNAME record too.
- To move to a different address, set up the new one. It replaces the old one.
Troubleshooting
The address field is greyed out
Save your brand name and colour above it first.
It says that host is ours
Use an address on your own domain, not on spamcipher.com.
It says that host is in use by another partner
Choose a different address on your domain.
It says custom login addresses are not available right now
We cannot set up new addresses at the moment. Your brand is saved meanwhile. Try again later, or contact us.
It has said Waiting for DNS for a long time
Check that the record's type is CNAME and that its name and target match the card exactly, then click Check now.
