Deliverability Code of Conduct
Every Solutions Partner sends on shared infrastructure and on its clients' reputations. This code is what we expect of you, and of every client workspace you run, so that mail keeps reaching the inbox for everyone. It forms part of the Solutions Partner Agreement. You accept it by ticking it in the partner area of the app.
1.Lists
- No purchased or rented lists unless you hold a record of how each person agreed to be contacted, and can show it to us when asked.
- Verify addresses before the first send to any new list.
2.Suppression
- Honour every unsubscribe and every suppressed address across all the client workspaces you run, not only the one it arrived in.
- Never re-import a suppressed address into another client's list.
3.Warm-up before volume
Warm up every new mailbox and domain before it sends at volume, and raise volume gradually. Keep bounce protection switched on for every client campaign.
4.Bounce and complaint limits
Keep each client workspace under a 5% bounce rate and a 0.3% spam complaint rate. With bounce protection on, SpamCipher pauses a campaign that passes the bounce limit; 0.3% is the complaint rate Gmail and Yahoo enforce. We watch both, and a workspace that stays above them can be paused.
5.Honest sending
- Never send for a client who does not know that SpamCipher is the sender.
- Every message names who it is from and carries a working way to stop receiving them.
- No misleading subject lines, no hidden senders, and no sending that breaks anti-spam law where you or your recipients are, including CAN-SPAM, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation and the GDPR.
6.Breach
A breach of this code ends the partnership and forfeits any unpaid balance, as the Solutions Partner Agreement says. We may pause a client workspace while we look into a problem.
